WA6NUT Filter Board for SSB plus VideoIf you're a licensed amateur radio operator, and you like to experiment with analog Slow Scan TV (SSTV) or Narrowband TV (NBTV), this may be the project for you! Here's a project to add simultaneous video to your HF SSB voice signal (or simultaneous voice to your HF SSTV signal). You'll need an SSB Audio/Video Processor connected between your PC and your soundcard interface (the same setup as for SSTV). For NBTV, you'll need HF transceivers with TX and RX bandwidths of 3.5 kHz or more. The Processor is built with two main boards: the WA6NUT Relay Filter Board and the WA6NUT Filter Board (two additional boards, Velleman K1803 kits, are also used). Separate parts kits for the two main boards are available from Mouser Electronics. For more information, download the "CO49-Voice" zipped folder from: http://www.hamsdr.com/personaldirectory.aspx?id=1100This folder will provide more information on "SSB plus Video." Instructions for building the SSB Audio/Video Processor are given, as well as special NBTV software (modified from ZL2AFP's "FFT-TV"). The zipped folder is about 5.5 MB and contains 23 files, so you'll want to download to a folder where it can be unzipped and from which each application can be opened. Read the "SSB plus Video Info" .txt file first. There is a Yahoo! Group for builders and users of the SSB Audio/Video Processor. To join, go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ssb-plus-videoRemember to order the WA6NUT Relay/Filter Board along with the WA6NUT Filter board -- they're both needed to build a Processor!
